We are Vintaj – three women who share a passion for designing art and jewelry, and who created a unique product we feel inspired by. Opening the door to endless possibilities, these naturally beautiful metal findings and filigree have not only provided inspiration for our design, they have also provided us with a business that allows us what we love to do every day – raise our children, meet new and talented people, share our love of design, and spend time with our families and friends.

We feel our dreams and prayers have brought us here. We are truly thankful for our blessings: our families, our friends and customers, being able to do what we love, and being able to share this passion with you. We want to help you live your dreams and grow your creative spirit. At Vintaj, our maxim is to work with you to help you soar. That holds true in every aspect of our company.

We are proud to say that our entire metal product line is made and packaged in the USA.

Our metals are made in the USA, and our facilities are located in the historic town of Galena, Illinois.

About Our Finishes

Natural Brass

Natural Brass is finished with a meticulous, eco-friendly, hand process. We are proud of the unique and artistic nature of the stages we apply and the time it takes to bring you these naturally beautiful elements. Due to the careful hand process used on each Vintaj piece, every one has its own unique color and luster. It is these subtle differences that give our product such depth and dimension.

Natural Brass is solid brass made up of 85% copper and 15% zinc. It is nickel-free and lead-free.

Solid Brass

Our Solid Brass is the perfect complement to all of your bright brass findings and mixed metal jewelry. Patina, distress, and alter Solid Brass to create unique jewelry components.

Artisan Copper

Artisan Copper is with a meticulous, eco-friendly, hand process. We are proud of the unique and artistic nature of the stages we apply and the time it takes to bring you these craftsman quality elements. Due to the careful hand process used on each Vintaj piece, every one has its own unique hue and luminous quality. It is the subtle differences that give our product such depth and dimension.

Artisan Copper is solid copper. It is nickel-free and lead-free.

Artisan Pewter

Artisan Pewter is the perfect complement to all of your silver findings and mixed metal jewelry. Patina, distress, and alter Artisan Pewter to create unique jewelry components.

Artisan Pewter is solid pewter. It is nickel-free and lead-free.

Plated

Each artisan element is created with hand crafted detail and cast from solid pewter. These exquisite castings show each stroke of the hammer that was used to design them. Chain and findings have a base of solid brass for bendability and ease of use. To ensure longevity in your designs, each finding is plated using 3-5 mils of precious metal (HEAVY plating) with a flexible finish. Designed to be manipulated, each product can be stamped, hammered, hole punched and bent.

Plated finishes are metal platings on top of a solid pewter base metal. They are nickel-free and lead-free. All metal ingots are sourced in the USA.

Patina

Each piece is patinaed by hand, adding color and dimension and revealing its fine and beautiful detail.

Our Patina is permanent to metal, acid free and made in the usa.

Made in the USA

Our nickel and lead free metals are made and packaged here in the USA.

Due to the careful finishing process used on each Vintaj piece, every one has its own unique color and luster.
