AA201 - My Favorite Things Wall Art - Designer: Jeanne Holland
Gather photos, magazine clippings, etc... to create a personalized collage and turn it into a unique piece of wall art! Jeanne used Adobe Photoshop to build this beautiful collage, however you can get the same effect by designing a scrapbook style page, using basic cut and paste techniques. The collage art was adhered to a wood plaque from Walnut Hollow, available at Hobby Lobby. Jeanne painted the beveled edges of the wood piece to complement the colors in her design and create a framed look. She flattened a Magonlia Bead Cap and layered it with an Eight Petal Cut Out and Pinwheel Washer to add dimension to the design. The piece was riveted onto the top left corner of the artwork. A matching silk ribbon was secured to the back of the wood plaque with an Arte Metal Decorivet, simply by pushing it into the wood. If it is hard to get it started, use a small nail and hammer to create tiny holes for the rivet points to easily insert into the wood. You can hammer it the rest of the way in to secure.
