Flirtatious butterflies adorned with Swarovski crystals, layered with Violet Petal Filigrees and suspended from a generous strand of Peruvian Opal chips. A fun, simple, lenthy and clasp-free design!

STEP by STEPS

Step 1: Create Bead Links & Dangles
A: String a 6mm crystal on a 1” head pin, trim the straight end of the head pin so that approximately ¼ inch remains above the top bead.
B: Using your fingers, securely hold the crystal on the head pin.
C: Use the rosary pliers to grip the straight end of the head pin. Pull the head pin toward you, bending it between 45 and 90 degrees.
D: Continue by turning the head pin away from you until you’ve completed 1 revolution of a simple loop, achieving plenty of tension on the bead.
E: Repeat steps A-D, using a 6mm crystal once on a 1" head pin and once on a 1" eye pin, creating three dangles total.
F: Layer 2 butterfly charms back to back, using chain nose pliers attach a 4.5mm jump ring to the top loop of charms and attach it to the crystal bead link.

Step 2: Create Reversible Pendant
A: Layer 2 violet petal filigrees back to back.
B: Using chain nose pliers attach a 4.5mm jump ring to the crystal butterfly dangle, attach it to the bottom center petal of filigree.
C: Using chain nose pliers, attach 4.5mm jump rings to the crystal dangles, attach a dangle to each side of the bottom opening of the filigree pendant, beside the butterfly dangle.

Step 3: Design Bead Strand
A: Cut 32” piece of wire.
B: String a crimp bead on wire, string wire through a 4.5mm jump ring and crimp.
C: String 1 melon bead, 4 jumpring/spacers, 1 crystal, Peruvian Opal chips, 1 crystal, 4 jumpring/spacers and 1 melon bead .
D: Repeat Step B to crimp opposite side.

Step 4: Add Chain Strand
A: Cut 28” piece of cable chain.
B: Using chain nose pliers attach each end of cable chain to the 4.5mm jump rings the bead stand is attached to.

Step 5: Attach Strands to Pendant
Using chain nose pliers, attach 4.5mm jump rings to each end of the top opening of the filigree pendant, to complete necklace.
