Inspired by our Secret Garden theme, I created a colorful collage bezel with a special message inside. Embellish bezels with a filigree ring, leaf fastenable, key and heart charms for a unique faux locket style pendant!

STEP by STEPS

Step 1: Create Bezel Locket.
Outer Bezel
A: Print photo onto sticky-back canvas. Brush over printed surface with Studio Multi-Medium Matte. Let dry for a couple of hours. Trace and cut image to fit bezel. Peel backing off canvas and insert into bezel. Use a paper creaser to burnish over the entire surface to remove creases and secure image.
B: Use Multi-Medium to glue a scrolled filigree ring over the image. When gluing the catalpa leaf fastenable, line up the loop of the leaf and bezel placing the curve of the leaf along the bezels edge. Let dry.

Inner Bezel
A. Line up your letters alongside the right curve of the bezel. Imprint the word Secret using a Beaducation Originals Kismet Lowercase letter stamp set. (I stamped the S using the uppercase). Use black acrylic paint or a ultra fine black sharpie to color in words. Remove excess paint if necessary.
B. Dab pearl acrylic paint over remaining area of the bezel, lightly blot with a paper towel. Apply layers of meadow, raisin and sunshine yellow alcohol inks over surface. Add copper mixatives over inks and teensie heart charm. Blot with a paper towel. Let dry.
C. Apply black StazOn ink to small leaf themed rubber stamps. Stamp images over colored area.
D. Use Multi-Medium to glue down and layer a teensie heart and key.

Step 2: Beaded Strands.
A. Wire-wrap briolettes and pearls using 24g bronze wire. Create a coiled loop on each end of pearl.
B. Wire-wrap glass leaves using 20g bronze wire.
C. Use pearl head pins to wire-wrap beaded flower dangles and connectors.
D. Use Multi-Medium to glue Lucite cabochon onto a filigree leaf charm.
E. Link together beads, connectors and dangles using 4.75 and 7.25mm jump rings.
F. Layer your bezels, creating a faux locket. Secure them with a 7.25mm jump ring.
G. String bezel locket, bronze heart toggle ring and one end of beaded strand to a 15mm jump ring. Attach opposite end of beaded strand to the key toggle bar.
